Student Absences

The Student Absence Line is 403.948.7030.

If a child is absent from school, a parent or guardian must call the Student Absence Line and leave details of the absence.

One of the benefits of being on a modified, or balanced calendar is having the opportunity to take extended family trips at varied times throughout the school year.  If you are planning a trip outside of these set break times, we ask for your assistance with the following:

1.  Please notify your child's homeroom teacher and the office as soon as you know the dates.

2.  Please be aware that teachers are not expected to provide work for students in advance of these trips.  The parent and student assume responsibility for missed assignments/curriculum.  Assignments missed are to be completed upon return to school.  You are very welcome to discuss any of this information with your child's teacher.
